Transportation Options

Metrorail:

• This weekend, free shuttles replace trains between National Airport and Pentagon City due to the Crystal City entrance construction project. As a result, Crystal City station is closed.
• Some trains are operating between Shady Grove and NoMa-Gallaudet due to planned work. Board Glenmont-bound trains to continue trip.
• Trains operating every 8-15 minutes w/ single tracking between Forest Glen and Silver Spring due to planned work. For more info visit https://wmata.com/weekend.

ART:

• 5K Detour - ART 87
  As a reminder, due to the Michael J Fox Foundation 5K Run, portions of Army-Navy Dr. will be closed to traffic from 8:00 am to 11:30 am on Sun, Jun 7, 2026. ART 87 bus stops at Army Navy Dr. and S. Joyce will not be serviced during this event. ART 87 will detour from 26th Rd Street to Glebe Road and travel on 395 North to exit onto S. Hayes St. at Pentagon City Metro, and from Pentagon City Metro travel on 395 South to Glebe Rd. to 26th St. ART route 87 will detour into Pentagon City Mall. Thank you for riding ART!
