Metrorail:

• This weekend, trains are bypassing Silver Spring station due to planned work. Shuttles provided between Takoma and Forest Glen. Info: https://wmata.com/weekend.
• This weekend, trains operating every 18-36 min w/ single tracking between Ballston and East Falls Church due to planned work. Info: https://wmata.com/weekend.
• This weekend, trains single track btwn Navy Yard & L?Enfant Plaza due to scheduled work. As a result, trains will operate every 16 min btwn Branch Ave & Mt Vernon Square and Green Line service at L?Enfant Plaza will be provided from the Greenbelt platform. From Mt Vernon Square customers should use the Yellow Line to Greenbelt to continue their trip. Info: https://wmata.com/weekend.
• Train service has been restored between New Carrollton/Downtown Largo and Vienna/Ashburn. Trains continue to single track between Ballston and E. Falls Church because of planned weekend track work. Customers will experience residual delays in both directions.

ART:

• Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday Service
  In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 19, ART 41, 42, 45, 51, 55, 77, and 87 will operate on Saturday schedules. The STAR Call Center will also be closed, and all standing orders, except for dialysis, will be cancelled.   Effective Tuesday, January 13, 2026, due to Construction Activity (DC22 Project - South Walter Reed Drive Complete Street Project) Traffic Control - lane changes, the following bus stop locations change will occur: Bus Stop Changes: Northbound South Walter Reed Drive @ 9th St S., NS (Closed) Stop ID 6000253 Southbound South Walter Reed Drive @ 9th St S., NS (Closed).
