Transportation Options

Metrorail:

• Navy Yard's Half Street entrance is closed until March 2026 for escalator replacement. Use the New Jersey Ave. SE entrance, which remains open with elevator access.
• Trains are single tracking between Medical Center and Friendship Heights because of a track problem at Bethesda. Expect delays in both directions. Some trains will turn at strategic locations to minimize train traffic.

ART:

• ART Route 56 - Detour
  Detour on ART Route 56 - Stops at 14th St N @ N Meade St (both directions), N Oak St @ 14th St N (Westbound) and N Moore St @ Rosslyn Station Bay E will not be served between 9:19 AM and 11:59 PM due to road closure
• Military Rd Roundabout Project, Phase 2 - Bus Stop Relocation
  Beginning Friday, October 31, due to construction activity, ART 56 bus stops located at Military Rd and 25th Rd N will temporarily relocate to the 4100 block of Nelly Custis Rd in both directions. Thank you for your patience.
