Transit Service Alerts

Metrorail:

  • Navy Yard's Half Street entrance is closed until March 2026 for escalator replacement. Use the New Jersey Ave. SE entrance, which remains open with elevator access.
  • No longer single tracking. Residual delays continue in both directions following an earlier medical emergency at Reston Town Center.
  • On Saturday, October 18, train service to Arlington Cemetery will be extended until 12am because of a special event.

ART:

  • ART Route 45 and 72 - Detour
    Detour on ART Route 45 and 72 - Stops at S George Mason Dr @ 12th Rd S (Southbound) and S Four Mile Run Dr @ 4600 (Southbound) will not be served between 10:50 AM and 11:59 PM due to road work
